Fall One Room Challenge | Week 3

Hi, Latisea Calton here! Co Founder and Lead Interior Designer at MLEE Home Décor and More and Content Influencer at Latisea Calton Designs. This Fall I am participating the my second One Room Challenge.

Last week, I unveiled the Mood Board and gave you guys a sneak peek into this week update. If you missed it, you can catch up by clicking here.

The next step in the design process is execution.

In the interior design industry, "execution" refers to the process of turning a design concept into reality. It involves implementing the design plans, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, overseeing the construction or renovation work, and ensuring that the final result aligns with the initial vision. Therefore, for the next 5 weeks I'll be working on ensuring effective execution of the design project is brought to life successfully and meeting the clients (as known as The Boys) and my expectations.

It’s Week 3 and this week we tackled the bunkbed request by the boys during the week one update.

For a little back story, less than a year ago Hubs aka Jeremy Co Founder and Lead Carpenter at MLEE Home Decor and More and I built Twin XL platform beds with the intention to create a dope wall to wall headboard with a desk in the middle. However, the boys have been asking for bunkbeds ever since. I should’ve known better than to not design them with this in mind originally. But it’s done now and the boys are eager to sleep inside of it. Check out the before and after photos below.

Before vs After
